Bagoong Fried Rice

This recipe will definitely make any Filipino go hungry. Filipinos are known to love bagoong. Here's one recipe from Del Monte Kitchenomics taken from the back of their tomato sauce pack.
1 head garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, sliced
1 tbsp ginger strips
2 pcs long chili, seeded and sliced
1/2 cup ground pork
3 tbsp bagoong
1 small green mango, cut in strips
115g tomato sauce
1/4 cup cooking oil
Sauté ingredients except tomato sauce and mango in oil for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add 5 cups cooked rice and mango stips. Cook while stirring for 2 minutes. Top with 1 stalk green onions and omelette before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
